Finally, the garden is showing signs of life. I'm overjoyed. My beans and basil have been harvested twice and I even saw a red tomato amongst the green! Soon enough, we'll have tomatoes, pesto, fresh . . .

This is an incredible marinara, made with fresh tomatoes. Depending on the type of tomato, you may not need to peel or seed them. The flavor of the tomatoes comes through wonderfully.

My mint is totally boring, for some reason. There's almost no aroma or flavor. It's green and bushy, very healthy looking, but pallid in taste and smell.
